Raised floral embroidery climbs the skirt in long trailing stems and repeats in smaller sprigs across the bodice and sleeves. The neckline is a plain rounded crew with no fastening at the front, and the 3/4 sleeves finish in a turn-back cuff at the forearm. A seam at the natural waist gathers the skirt into soft folds, so the dress skims the bodice and then falls away in an easy A-line to mid-calf. Pockets are set into the side seams at hip level.
